My First Concert Experience
BTS is a South Korean group consisted of seven members, as they broke several musical records throughout the years, they have become worldwide famous artists. I have been a fan of them since 2016, and I was lucky enough to attend two of their concerts, which are "The Wings Tour” (held in 2017) and “Love Yourself Tour” (held in 2018). Both were once in a lifetime experiences for me, and I would definitely attend another one if I was given the chance.
The Wings Tour concert was the first concert I have ever been to. I could still remember the ticketing process, all tickets were sold out in less than a minute, which made getting a ticket an almost impossible task. I was lucky enough to get two floor section tickets for my friend and I, which cost about 5800 NTD each. (Yeah, they were pretty expensive.)
The day for the concert has finally come, and there were so many fans gathering outside the arena. Some fans were holding signs and banners of their favorite member of the band, some even dressed up as the members in their music videos. Everyone was hyped and excited about the event, there were also people selling merchandise around the arena.
After a long wait, we were finally able to enter the concert hall. The big screen upfront was playing the band’s music videos, and the fans began singing to the songs all together even before the concert begin. Because we bought floor section tickets, we get to see the group members just right next to the stage. During the concert, fans wave their light sticks (the ARMY bomb) and yell out fan chants all together, it was such a great experience that I felt like being in a huge family. The performance was also unforgettable, BTS members danced and sang songs after songs for the whole three hours. The members also spoke some mandarin and tried to interact with their fans.
As the concert came to an end, people were sad and started yelling 가지마, which means “don’t go” in Korean. The band showed up once again and performed an encore before finally ending the show. Although I felt a little bit down after the concert, standing up for so many hours made my legs hurt and sore for a few days after, which is why I decided to go for a seat ticket in the next concert.
You were really lucky to attend the concerts! Some of my friends are fascinated with Korean groups, and they haven't had a chance to see their idols in person. I believe you really felt satisfied with the whole process of concert. Enjoy your next concerts in the future! 😊😁

I also attended my first concert in the beginning of this year which was performed by MayDay. I went to the concert with my father and I thought it was very meaningful. Because the reason I would listen to the song of Mayday is my father. So, I was appreciate to this opportunity to attend MayDay's concert with my father. 林哲逸
